Research tells us that students learn new vocabulary most efficiently from voluntary reading about topics they enjoy. The best way to make sure this happens in my classroom is to have a multitude of quality, Spanish-language texts.
The titles on this list have been curated by world language specialists and distinguished book awards such as Pura Belpre. Additionally, a variety of genres ensures all students have the opportunity to engage with texts that are personally resonant.
