Many special education students need not only academic support but also social emotional counseling support. When young learners are exposed to toys and games that teach them to share, turn take, interact appropriately and express their feelings, they not only have improved social interactions, their academics improve as well.
The toys and games will be used to give our young kindergarten students a safe place to play and learn while in a counseling milieu. Research tells us that the younger we start social emotional learning and support, the more confident learners we will see in the classroom later on.
