I have a different levels of learners in my third grade classroom. I have students who are working from K to fourth grade level of learning. I am requesting wobble cushions, skills practice, and engaging activities in math and literacy.
My focus is to provide ELA rotations where students can practice the skills they need to master. My games center will take place on the carpet with cushions for extra focus. The games center for the students will add engagement to my students' learning. They will play CVC board games, word for word game, sight word bingo, and splash reading games.
In reading groups with me, we will focus on building fluency, phonics, word family and comprehension skills.
Math is another subject where students will use the games and hands on materials to practice math fact fluency.
