Having a strong foundation in the Social/Emotional domain will allow the children in my class to be able to work together in both large and small groups. The children in my Pre-K Integrated classroom have spent the last year and a half at home in isolation and have missed out on learning these important skills. Learning to work together in will support future learning and will encourage appropriate play and cooperation and will also support their cognitive and academic skill as well.
