Every child deserves a voice. Whether that be through improved sound production skills, increased vocabulary or use of a picture communication (low tech or high tech). Through the use of the items on my list (card stock, laminator, lamination film, book binder) I will be able to make materials for sound production practice, books for increasing vocabulary, cards for picture exchange for students. (Standard SL.K.6 - Speak audibly and express thoughts, feelings, and ideas clearly, SL.K.1- SL.12.1- Engage effectively in a range of collaborative discussions (one-on-one, in groups, and teacher-led) with diverse partners on grade 6 topics, texts, and issues, building on others' ideas and expressing their own clearly.) My students love books! The books will allow me to expose students to new Tier 2 vocabulary to increase their use of vocabulary
