My students have struggled to access adequate classroom supplies through the COVID pandemic. I've had to buy classroom supplies for my students because they couldn't afford to buy their own. Many students lost motivation to come to school and I believe these supplies will make them more motivated to come to school and be eager to learn math. These basic classroom supplies I've requested will directly go to the hands of all my learners, including ELL learners and those new to our country. The act of kindness will mean a lot to those kids, just as it does to us as educators.
