These materials are the basics of a great game of Dungeons & Dragons with peers. To play the game, especially for special needs students, there needs to be a visual platform (the maps) with a representation of their character (the miniatures) and enough of the primary rulebook that each pair to the threesome of students may have one to refer to throughout character creation and the game. Each student needs their own set of dice to run their character, as well as to create their character.
The additional books can be shared amongst students as needed.
These lessons will help my students work on appropriate social skills, as well as the ability to engage in an activity for an elongated period of time.
