As we still work to navigate the pandemic, this project will support equitable access for students to participate in book clubs in school and virtually. We have seen how lack of access to technology can hinder forward progress in learning. Having a book in their hands will allow them to continue to work with their classmates and collaborate with peers. Many of my students are not able to access libraries outside of school.
Having multiple copies of books creates a seamless transition for students to participate in partner and book club activities. Having a wide selection promotes and supports all reader's interests and meets their reading proficiency.
