In my classroom every day we have D.E.A.R (Drop Everything and Read) time. I have a few students who are above a ninth grade reading level. During D.E.A.R. they get extremely bored because they have nothing to do while the other students are doing their work. This project will help me to offer students reading materials that are more advanced, in turn giving them the opportunity to build vocabulary and participate in D.E.A.R time with the rest of my students. It would help them to continue to build fluency. At the same time, they would have multiple sources to compare.
