After staring at a computer screen for their kindergarten year, it is critical that I provide a bright and colorful learning environment for my students to come to every day. The materials that I have requested will help me to create the visually stimulating environment that my little learners deserve. We use anchor charts to record and reference our learning on a daily basis. Much time is spent on creating these charts and other materials by hand with markers. Having the ability to print in color, serves a dual purpose- I can create bright, engaging materials for my students to use and have more time to plan activities that will engage and inspire my students. My request also allows me to print materials for students to use at home to further their learning and include their families as well. Standards R.L.1-1.10
