I have held six different positions in the past 10 years of service to my school district. I have taught fifth grade, been an educational computer strategist, taught elementary technology, kindergarten, and have been a fill in distance education librarian during the covid pandemic. Many of these moves have been involuntary as the district has cut positions throughout the years. I have recently started a 2nd grade position in which I hope to maintain for several years. These moves have made it difficult to build up any supplies as each position requires different resources to some degree. I respectfully ask that my requests for all different kinds of supplies be granted for my new classroom. I am asking for everything from STEM sets to math worksheets, from phonics and reading materials to incentives for kids, who need them now more than ever.
