Science is always a favorite subject in my classroom. These books will let my students learn about Science as a whole class. We will build lessons from our reading. Students will also be able to re-read these books in groups and partners as reference and to build fluency in reading.
We will further our Science lesson with the study of rocks and gems.
We will experiment and polish stones in our classroom with a rock tumbler. The biggest request during our Science lesson is also more experiments. Students thrive on hands on learning. This rock tumbler will allow students see what happens to a variety of different rocks and stones after tumbling them in our classroom. We will explore our curiosity through Science!
