The Block Area is always a favorite center in my pre-k classroom. The kids love being creative and building a variety of things. There are so many skills that can be worked on in this center, including perseverance, creativity, fine motor skills, working with peers, social interaction, and more!
I love watching them problem solve, work collaboratively, and seeing their excitement with each creation they make!
Adding a set of new wooden blocks would allow them more flexibility and options to work at this center.
The TreeHouse would also encourage social interaction and dramatic play with the characters and design of the house.
