Students are expected to sit still in the classroom and I am fully aware that this is not conducive to a successful learning environment. The following are the Social Studies standards that will be supported with the new library books. Identify how individuals have made a difference in the communities in which they live. SS.2.11 Identify and compare cultural practices and traditions in the U.S. SS.2.14
