If my project is funded, my students will be so excited to have a computer in our classroom that they can use everyday. Because of COVID-19 many of my students have come to kindergarten behind in basic skills, but especially in technology. This computer will help them achieve the technology that will help them when taking their standardized tests on the computers in the spring. Literacy is the door to school success! The story telling kits and pocket charts will help build language and literacy skills that my students are lacking because of COVID-19. I will use these kits in small groups and whole group instruction.
