These materials will help me to continue to facilitate learning in a COVID-19 Global Pandemic era. My students are returning to an in-person classroom that will provide a socially distant, safe environment to learn. I hope to establish a kind, respectful classroom environment where my students can come to learn, thrive, and grow academically as well as socially and emotionally.
My students have to be spaced 3 feet apart and are not allowed to wander around, work in groups, or rotate centers like they are used to per COVID-19 protocols. If my students have flex seating, reward incentives, and positive words surrounding them, they just might feel the sense of community, collaboration and comradery that will get them through this school year. We are still facing a global pandemic that has severely impacted learning.
My hope for these materials is to continue to facilitate learning during these trying times and to bring a positive, hopeful light to my students’ lives.
