My students in my primary autism self-contained program need a variety of visual and hands-on learning activities in order to learn skills in the areas they are working on, as well as creating communication books to help them make requests and communicate with others. The materials I chose (laminator, lamination paper, Velcro, printer ink, and printer paper) will help me make more interactive and reusable activities for them to use on a daily basis during independent work and direct instruction. Using these materials will make them more durable for daily use and their continued need to practice their skills.
