Please help our second graders acquire tools to help them succeed. We use a lot of technology in the classroom. Many of the applications are interactive (SmartyAnts - RF.2.3, ST Math - 2.OA, 2.NBT, 2.MD, 2.GA, MyOn - 2.RL, 2.RI, and more), which means the classroom can get a little noisy and distracting for our students when they don't have headphones. Your donations will provide individual headphones to each of our students. Individual headphones also means we'll be able to reduce the spread of germs. Students can never have too many books! Over half of our second-grade team is new to our school, and they are building their classroom library. With a year of distant learning, many of our students struggle with reading on grade level. The books we've chosen will help meet the students where they are in reading, so they can build their skills (RF.2.4). Last but not least, we could sure use some basic supplies. Markers for whiteboards are useful for math and small groups, while fidget gadgets help kids focus. The power strips will help us keep our technology charged and ready for use. Our project is jammed packed with tools to help our students be successful and make the gains necessary both academically and socially. Help us allow our students to come back stronger than ever!
