I want to give all students that walk through the door of my class the best foundation to a successful educational career! I thought about my students individual needs and the needs of the classroom as a whole, and I picked out materials that will help not only the class but each student.
Materials such as a large classroom rug can provide the opportunities of better whole group reading instruction. It will allow for the students to maintain engagement during whole group instruction. Materials such as the chair bands will allow for students with the need for movement to focus to get that fulfillment and allows them to maintain sitting at their desk.
I want my students to have every material, opportunity and need met to best allow them to succeed not only in my classroom, but as they move on to higher grades. I want these materials to help them succeed this year, and for students to come.
Thank you!
