The materials I have requested in this project will help my students in this new age of a COVID, post-virtual learning environment by keeping them healthy and safe. The large organizer will help separate student materials keeping our little hands germ free! White board markers dry out so fast, these extra markers will help ensure each student can always have a marker in hand to demonstrate learning. Less hands touching shared materials keeps our tools squeaky clean from unwanted germs!
Buzz, Buzz, Buzz! The buzzers are a favorite of mine and will be a huge surprise for the kiddos!!! I can't think of a better way to improve engagement, participation, and communication within the classroom. Not only will the kids be excited to learn, but the simple press of a little buzzer with fun sound effects will spark group discussion and collaboration. We can use these to team build and present our group ideas! Think win-win! (CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.SL.1.1).
The more we read, the better readers we become! The books in this project will help grow my students into readers who will grow to love reading not only for learning, but for fun! The books are also diverse and culturally significant!
