8th graders in Nevada explore the magnetic world. MSPS2-3, and MSPS2-5 require students to investigate the magnetic properties of materials and their applications in industry. Students construct and present arguments regarding attractions between objects and forces that are interacting between them in fields.
Students will use these magnets and materials to conduct experiments and test how magnets work. Academic literature and work will be supported by the hands-on and collaborative investigations kids can engage with the magnets and materials requested. Students learn best by doing. The purchase of these materials will enhance their understanding of the physical forces.
