The new library books will help replace many of our books that were lost during covid-19. My students love books, and will be excited to check out new books that they can take to their classrooms and homes. The books that I receive will fulfill the Nevada Library Standard 1.G.1 Continually seek knowledge through information. The art supplies will be used to start an art club in our school and will allow the kids to create project using different art mediums. Being a certified art teacher, I have always felt there was a huge need for an art program and no funding to go with it. The new supplies that are funded will help us get started. This will fulfill the Nevada Visual Art Standard Cr1.K.1; Engage in exploration and imaginative play with materials.
