I know these items give students the opportunity to work together as well as alone. These items can also be used in small group activities and as whole group lessons. I want to expose them to different cultures and people and the multicultural books and puzzles will give them some of that exposure which in turn will make them more accepting and understanding of differences. I also think these items will expose them to more, which I believe all students are in need of as their brains are soaking up all the knowledge it can.
