W.3.3-6- Write narratives to develop real or imagined experiences or events using effective technique, descriptive details, and clear event sequences. Our class will be able to create their own stories and show them off, not only to their classmates, but to the other students in our school. These students are so talented and always sharing their stories and ideas in class, so allowing them to share it with the school would make their day. Not only will it allow them to show off their work, they will also be allowed to express themselves through their drawings. Our class has voted to make a shirt that they can wear around the school and explain what their book is about based off the drawing they design for their shirts. They chose this project, not I. This project will continue their growth with writing narrative stories, which is rather a big standard in third grade. I would love to allow them to create their stories, especially because it is something that they all enjoy and, to me, that is rare for an entire class to enjoy the same thing.
