Children learn through their senses. Sensory tables improve children's sense of touch which helps them perceive their environment accurately. Exposure to a variety of textures improves children's development of fine motor skills. A sensory table will help my curious preschoolers have a hands on experience with many different materials. It will allow the students to explore and engage in all five of their senses. A sensory table will help to develop fine motor, cognitive, and language skills, and will help develop socialization skills. Sensory play is one of the best ways to aid in the development of child. A sensory table is basically a table full of materials that get children to use all five senses. The table is set up to let children learn and engage their senses by interacting with everything that is being presented to them.
