The EcoSpheres would give students a chance to observe ecosystems at work in real time. By making observations and drawing conclusions about the ecosystem contained inside the small sphere's students would be able to infer how delicate the balance of ecosystems are, as well as making the connection that living things depend on one another for survival. These would also allow us to make the conclusion that we can attribute life on Earth to the sun for allowing plants to photosynthesize while giving us oxygen to breathe as the by product of photosynthesis. The spheres would allow our science class to look behind the scenes at life science as it happens right before our eyes!
