Having access to class sets of novels in the classroom would build students' vocabulary and fluency levels. Currently we do not have novels for students to follow along with the teacher or to read aloud from. Students will use these skills in all aspects of their day to day learning! My students come from all different socio-economic backgrounds, so they will all benefit from getting to hold these books in their hands and call them their own for a short period of time! Help me create a love of reading for my students!
