I teach in a small elementary school in Southern Utah. These iPads will continue to enhance the learning in our designated STEAM school. Although we are a technology school, our funding is limited in the present school year. The main focus of our school is on math, technology, engineering and science. I am asking for iPads in our classrooms to create math centers for my students. All of these technology requests have been chosen thinking about the needs of my students. I have noticed that my students are engaged when they use technology to enhance their academic learning. I asked them what type of technology they would enjoy using in class. The majority of my students mentioned using iPads in some of our lessons.
The technology that I have selected will help my students by giving them the opportunity to work at their math centers in a fun and engaging way. In our math centers students will have the chance to post their learning on Seesaw in a more efficient way. While at the same time solving real world interactive math problems. In addition, by having these three iPads in class during our math centers all my students will use them in a consistent rotation. I believe that this will help my students to see that we all can share our technology tools in a positive and effective way. Please help us fund this project for our students.
