These materials will help students at home have hands on experience with second grade science standards: Life Science: Biodiversity, Life Science- Plant Adventures, Earth and Space Science: Earth Surface Processes, Physical Science: Properties and Phases of Matter.
These are hard concepts for younger students to understand. These materials will bring home the basic understanding while making and observing the experiment. Students will learn: how many different kinds of animals are there, how could you get more birds to visit a birdfeeder, where do plants grow best, how can you stop a landslide, can you build a home out of paper. All these materials will provide the learning through experimenting.
