My students are in a tier three school so we have an extended school day. This means that they are at least two grade levels behind and they have to sit in class from 8:20am - 4:20pm with no recess. It is such a shame.
We use every minute of the day for various remediation including direct instruction and intervention. Their favorite thing we do in Math class is competitions using our individual white boards. My student get fidgety, I try to give them many brain breaks but they've been asking for flexible seating and these wobble bands seem like a feasible solution.
