My students will need some of the basic supplies that are classroom is currently lacking as I am transitioning to teaching in our school's self-contained autism room. These supplies will help so that our student have things that they will need like places to get sensory objects that they may need to access when they are upset. Additionally, ways to learn differently, such as using post it notes to express how they feel about the books that we are reading.
These supplies will help us to learn and become more independent. We also will use these supplies to do our daily learning and stations. These also will help to organize the classroom so that transitions will run smoothly and learning time will be maximized.
