The 5th Graders at our school are all about Brain Breaks! Brain Breaks are essential throughout the day, especially when students are working so hard and pushing their brains to learn as much as they can during the school day.
Many of the 5th graders enjoy using their hands and gravitate towards activities that involve building and showing their creativity! Having an outlet to be creative in the classroom during the school day has shown to be an extremely beneficial component in students learning. It allows for students to break away from the rigor of curriculum and flourish when it comes to their creativity.
Legos are not only a popular brand and toy students love to play with but it allows students to build things and use their imagination. Having Legos in the classroom is something I know the 5th Graders will love and be extremely excited for when given the opportunity to give their brains a break!
