My students come onto campus from multiple parts of the county, whether it be on the campus I am stationed at, or one of the other three campuses our school has branched out to. The Bluetooth speaker is portable and would make it easier to play music on any of the campuses that I travel to, to meet with my students and parents, as some places are not equipped with smartboards or sound systems for me to do so. I find that playing music for students promotes a better working environment and makes it fun to come to school!
Having a variety of literature for students in the classroom seems to get them more excited about all aspects of reading, writing, and listening. The books requested for our classroom library will give students more variety in what they choose to read, and what I read to the class, exposing them to different genres and types of literature. The books will also keep them more engaged during lessons that we have over Zoom or in-person by exposing them to different authors, illustrations, and stories.
