The county where I teach has purchased a computer program that is used as a daily intervention. All students work on this program in the morning. It is very hard for the students to concentrate when no one has headphones and you can hear 25 computers talking and reading at the same time. The gift of headphones will make the classroom a much quieter environment where students can focus and concentrate and do their best. Headphones will also prevent students from listening to their neighbors answers and receiving a little help.
