The two book series, Ninja Life Hacks and A Little Spot, will help my students understand and manage some of the complex emotional and social situations they are experiencing as they return to in-person learning. Having missed many months learning, playing, and growing alongside peers, they are working hard to adjust (and doing a wonderful job). The fantastic books in both of these series will add to their social-emotional toolboxes and allow me to highlight a "Life Hack" or "A Little Spot" a few times a week during morning meeting. I'm so proud of my students' resilience and perseverance and want to grow both even more this year. I can't wait to see their faces when we start reading our new books!
