This light table will be used to not only to show the physical properties of light and the manipulatively we use, but the light table will be incorporated into our daily math lessons. Students will be excited to sort, count, and order our light table items in centers and in small group. We will also use the light table to help in our art projects and as a backdrop for our sensory bins. Overall, a light table will add interest and enrich our students' learning in the classroom. We want to turn our instruction back towards Play Based Learning, and this tool will add to our curriculum.
