I asked for a chart stand. This will have so many great uses. It is a whiteboard for working math problems and writing sight words. I will be able to hang a chart tablet on it. This will help me be able to model how to write a story. I let the children help me by coming up and writing sight words and sounding out other words in the story. The back is a felt board. I will use it to hang a pocket chart. This will be used during reading stations for the children to work on specific skills.
The language activities I've asked for will reinforce the skills being taught daily. These will definitely make learning fun and will help them retain the information being taught.
