By funding the jewelry project you will be helping these high school students make connections with each other face to face instead of on the cell phone or in a Zoom meeting. You will be giving them an opportunity to do hands-on art that they can design, plan and create thus they will be creating art that is meaningful to them. We know the arts are a great way for students to have free expression which is good mental health and overall well-being. By providing a creative outlet that uses hands-on materials it can help students relieve stress and work through things happening in their lives.
