In today's day and age, when kids are zoning out on tablets, X-Boxes, and cell phones, our class project will focus on learning how to play many of the good old, favorite board games from when WE were kids! Connect Four, Trouble, Sorry, and Guess Who are among some of our favorites! These games teach so many skills, ranging from basically learning how to play, share, take turns, to even academic areas such as counting, sorting, reading comparing and contrasting. This project will help my students learn many of their Nevada Academic Standards in a fun creative way! I am excited to introduce so many skills to my students while they have a blast learning! I will be able to do this through your generous support of funding this project. I will be able to do this for years to come with future classes as well! Thank you very much!
