Studies have shown that Manga helps English Language Learners comprehend the language quicker due to the pictures and story with it. Furthermore, with Manga being a quick read, students are able to read more in a short amount of time. Reluctant readers also tend to like Manga, and frequently request such books from the library. Thus, I have chosen these four sets of books to support these two populations within my library. The My Hero Academia box set includes 15 books, and the Attack on Titan Box set includes 12. Your support will help students learn English, and help students who are reluctant to read learn to love and appreciate reading. Books have the power to transform our imagination and carry us to worlds never before thought possible. These books will open the wardrobe to new worlds for these students.
