I am creating learning centers to teach children phonics and reading comprehension. During the Pandemic most children during distance learning did not get the much needed learning of phonics and reading. These games will be able to be used in small groups and individual learning to help close the gap. Children will be able to choose the learning games that are differentiated and geared towards the skills they need most practice on, for example: RF 2.3 Know and apply grade-level phonics and word analysis skills in decoding words.
And for reading comprehension RL.2.1 Ask and answer such questions as who, what, where, when, why, and how to demonstrate understanding of key details in a text. Thank you very much for your generosity.
