Due to COVID, we were not able to fully engage in the school library experience. We had to create in-class libraries to provide students with the literacy experience they need. We are a self contained special education class. My students missed almost 2 years of in person education. I want to give them a cozy area to relax, read, and recharge. They will be able to spend quality time reading in our in-class library. The flexible seating works with the SEL/SEAD standards (Nevada has adopted Five Core Competencies from the Collaborative of Academic, Social and Emotional Learning).
About my class
