With these books, my Dual Immersion students will be able to connect more with their curriculum focusing on South America. It really helps them to read actual texts written in Spanish as opposed to texts translated into Spanish from English.
With these books, my students will have more opportunities to discover more about the people, the culture, the politics, and the society of South America, which is the overarching theme of my 8th-grade Spanish Language Arts class. This literature for adolescents will immerse students in the Spanish-speaking world.
My students will discuss these books with each other and present them to their classmates as well.
