These materials will help students transition back to in-person learning after almost two years of being at home due to Covid-19. The iPad will help increase engagement and will allow me to continue using virtual activities that were purchased for remote learning inside the speech therapy classroom. It will also support my students whose families chose to remain remote because I will be able to share my screen through the iPad.
The games and toys are primarily focused on supporting the social-emotional needs of my students.
After the disruptions from the pandemic, traditional school has been difficult for students and I want to supply them with items that will be engaging as well as support their social-emotional needs at this delicate time. These items will dramatically change the way my students learn, engage within the school setting with others, and progress towards their speech-language goals.
