Receiving the material asked for will make a difference by allowing my students hands-on experience with how heat transfer and thermal energy works. The Ziploc bags are needed to separate the ice and salt mixture from the ice cream mixture. They will be making the ice cream by shaking the bag continuously for 5 minutes or until the ice cream is at the desired consistency. After they will be able to enjoy their "conclusion" while filling out their "Observing Heat Transfer" worksheet. I believe this experiment will help engage students in understanding the standards that we are trying to teach.
