The power of play, collaboration, and exploration in a child's life is immeasurable. These experiences are seeds that will someday sprout. The products I chose offer opportunities for my students to build, explore and collaborate in the classroom. Students will complete puzzles, build bridges, houses, free build with LEGOs, magnatiles, play with marbles, express emotions, review concepts, and many more exciting things. The purpose of these activities and materials is to offer a hands-on experience for the kiddos in the classroom and to help balance the pencil, paper, and technology use. These activities offer many opportunities to problem solve, both academically and socially. Allowing the students to solve problems using skills and strategies they've learned at school will prepare them for social-emotional success in their school and home life.
