This year, our school was able to provide a space where our students with moderate to severe disabilities can receive their instruction related to functional life skills. In this environment, students work on building their independence in the areas of daily living, job training, social skills, and overall independence.
This space also gives our students a calming and comfortable environment to help them self regulate throughout the school day. With these materials we will be able to provide students with break time activities, sensory/regulation support, and functional/social skill building tasks.
About my class
