My classroom culture is built around collaboration and immediate feedback. Students can often learn more from peer interaction and team oriented work than teacher delivered content.
I have requested specific items that will help students reach their full potential while having meaningful interactions with their peers and receiving immediate teacher feedback. Classroom items like rolling whiteboards and dry-erase mats will allow students to work together to develop claims or construct short respsonses together. These ultimately allow for small group interaction, whole class discussion, multiple viewpoints, and immediate teacher feedback to happen seamlessy and efficiently. Any and all content standards can be incorporated into team oriented tasks.
