I am requesting book sets which are vital to providing an opportunity for every student in my classroom to experience what a book can do to help them grow into excellent young readers. Having book sets allows for the class to read together, to discuss the books and to learn together by providing resources which I currently do not have in my classroom. When I took over the classroom there was not a single book on the empty bookshelves in my classroom at the start of 2021 school year. I have tried to fill in the empty shelves the best I could, but these classroom sets of books are going to make a huge impact on the lives of my students.
