I am new to teaching kindergarten in a general education capacity. I am building a classroom environment that is welcoming and accepting. I want to continue to build on my students' knowledge through play and engaging children's literacy while fostering an appreciation of the diverse cultures within our classroom. In order to continue my vision, I would greatly appreciate the support of needed materials. I want my students to have a safe place to read and explore new books as well as educational toys to use during our cold months when we are unable to access the outdoor playground.
